Taytay Unggoy CIP is one of the three systems in Barangay Pinamangguan which has a total area of 259 ha. The potential area of the Taytay Unggoy CIP is 62 hectares. At present only 3 ha. are planted during rainy season and during dry season.
\nThe major source of employment\/job generation of the people in the barangay is the agriculture and rice farming is their major source of income. With these inteventions, the rice production in the area will increase by 372.00 metric tons annually, equivalent to Php 6,324,000.00. It will also provide an additional farm labor force or employment of about 5,580 man-days per year. Canals will be concrete lined for better water delivery.<\/p>\n
The Taytay Unggoy CIP subproject is a new system. It needs a construction of concrete trapezoidal Diversion Dam (1.0 m. above the upstream apron). It is provided with steel gates as sluiceway and intake. The diversion going to the settling basin is a close conduit. Then a trifurcation structure at the end of the settling basin which has steel gate going to the Left Man canal, Sluiceway\/silt ejector, and Right Main Canal. The canals are provided with vertical
