Banisilan is a 2nd-class municipality in North Cotabato (Region XII), Philippines. It was formally established on February 8, 1982, through the partition of twelve barangays from Carmen under Batas Pambansa Blg. 141.

Area & Terrain: Covers about 577 km² with elevations between 233 and 599 meters, featuring rolling uplands and lower plains.
