Columbio is a 1st-class municipality in Sultan Kudarat, located in the SOCCSKSARGEN region of Mindanao, Philippines. Established on August 6, 1961, it was created through Executive Order No. 439 by President Carlos P. Garcia, separating from the municipality of Buluan. The name “Columbio” is derived from the Blaan term “Colon-biao,” referring to the area’s abundance of cogon grass (colon) and Lumbang nut trees (biao) .

Population: As of the 2020 census, Columbio has a population of 33,527, making it the least populated municipality in the province .
