Description

Maigo is a 5th class municipality in Lanao del Norte, Northern Mindanao, Philippines. Established in 1959, it has a population of around 23,000 people (2020 census). The town’s economy is mainly based on agriculture, with rice and corn as key crops. Maigo is known for its peaceful community, diverse culture, and local festivals like the Nangkaan Festival, which celebrates the town’s abundant jackfruit harvest. It also features scenic beaches and has initiatives promoting sustainability and unity among its residents.
